The Loving Use of the Body [MP3]

This presentation combines two seminars held at the Foundation in 2013: Bodies: "Senses without Sense" and "The Christ in You." The focus is on the Course's compromise approach to mind and body, whereby the body's needs and experiences are not denied, but are given the Holy Spirit's purpose of leading us from illusion to truth. The shift from the ego's purpose of making the world and the body real to the Holy Spirit's mind-healing purpose takes place through our recognizing more and more that we are decision-making minds that have chosen incorrectly and that can now choose correctly. We thus learn Jesus' gentle lesson that while bodies are different, our purpose is always the same: to learn that God's Son is one in his universal sameness, thus paving the way to our awakening from the dream and realizing we are all one as Christ.
