As we become more right-minded, we "sacrifice" only our anger, fear, anxiety, and depression. Our separated self remains intact until the end, except that with a diminishing ego influence, we become happier and more joyful, kinder and more peaceful. In this sense we do not transcend our self, but allow it to be gently transformed for us by the Holy Spirit until that self has become our Self. This three-day Academy explores the ego's fallacy of sacrifice, recognizing that our only sacrifice is the awareness of the oneness and love we both have and are.
